Question 1

What does Clever Consult do?

Accepted Answer

We help owner-led professional and home service businesses automate invoicing, cash-flow forecasting, and lead follow-up. We build the systems, we do not just advise on them.

Question 2

Who is Clever Consult for?

Accepted Answer

Owner-led professional and home service businesses, roughly $750,000 to $5 million a year, with 5 to 30 people, still tangled up in the back office, with no full-time CFO or ops team.

Question 3

Who is it not for?

Accepted Answer

Pre-revenue startups, large companies with in-house finance and operations teams, and businesses that just want a cheap website.

Question 4

Are you local or remote?

Accepted Answer

Remote-first. We work with clients across the US and EU, remotely.

Question 5

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

A free 30-minute discovery call, then a Diagnostic for a $1,500 fixed fee, which is required. Implementation sprints start at $5,000. Retainers start at $2,000 per month.

Question 6

Do you just advise, or do you build?

Accepted Answer

We build. We implement automations, integrations, and workflows, and we monitor, maintain, and improve what was built.

Question 7

Do you also do web development and lead generation?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as supporting services, not as the headline offer. Our headline work is finance operations.

Question 8

Why is the Diagnostic required?

Accepted Answer

Because we review invoicing, cash flow, lead follow-up, and manual hours, then hand you a written plan with priced options, before any build work is agreed. You keep the plan either way.

Question 9

What happens to the Diagnostic fee if I book a sprint?

Accepted Answer

If you book your implementation sprint within 14 days, the full $1,500 diagnostic fee is credited toward your sprint.

Question 10

How does the retainer work?

Accepted Answer

Retainers start at $2,000 per month, at full rate from the start, with a 3-month initial term, then month-to-month with 30 days notice.

Question 11

Are software costs included?

Accepted Answer

No. Software and usage costs are billed separately, at cost. Where possible, you own your own accounts, so nothing is locked to us.

Question 12

How do we start?

Accepted Answer

Book a free 30-minute discovery call. We talk through where you are losing time and money today. No pitch, no commitment. You decide if there is a fit.
